In compliance with Shopify's data protection policy, Personally Identifiable Information (PII) that originates from Shopify will be stored in Ricemill systems for a maximum of 180 days after the order has been fulfilled.

PII includes:

• Names
• Addresses
• Phone numbers
• Email addresses

What does this mean for Shopify orders in Ricemill?

180 days after order fulfilled, your Shopify order data will be removed from the order in Ricemill, and all Personally Identifiable Information (PII) data will be replaced with the placeholder "***".

A warning message will be displayed before any information is redacted on the order view page. When viewing an Shopify order with redacted information, the original information will be replaced with the text "***".

The information is only redacted in Ricemill. You can still view your order information in your Shopify store admin.
